1. Virender Sehwag –
Virender Sehwag is one of the finest batsmen in the indian cricket team players. He was the destructive batsmen of all time and he played aggressive cricket. His nick name is Viru. He was born in Delhi on 20 October 1978 at the house of gain merchant. His father had identified sehwag’s interest in cricket as a child and had bought a toy bat in seven months Sehwag. He made a name for himself as an attacking batsmen and his coach was amar nath sharma at that time. While playing cricket in 1990, when his teeth broke, his father decided to end his career but his mother took away this ban. Sehwag’s good performance saw him get a chance to play first-class cricket for the Delhi cricket team in 1997-98. He was the 4th highest run scorer in the 1998-99 in Duleep Trophy. He also did well in the Ranji Trophy and was later selected in the Under-19 World Cup squad.
Sehwag was selected for ODI cricket in 1999 against Pakistan based on his performance and consistency but his career start poorly, he scored 1 run against Pakistan in Mohali in 1999. He did not get a chance to play the next 20 months. Twenty months later, in 2001, he scored 58 off 54 balls and took three wickets in Australia’s 4th ODI. Sehwag got the chance to open against Shri Lanka and he tuned the opportunity into gold and from then on, he started opening for the Indian Team. He has many records like he scored the second fastest 200 in ODI and he scored the fastest 255 off just 207 balls in test cricket. He also made two triple centuries in test cricket.
In his 14 years career sehwag made 8586 runs in 104 test matches and with the average of 49.42. He was a part of 2011’s World Cup winning team and he also scored 175 runs in opening first match of India. He also played IPL from Delhi Daredevils in 2008-2013 and then he played from Kings XI Punjab for next two years. Mahendra Singh Dhoni, who won the title of the greatest cricketer and he came from the small town. He fought a lot in his life and after many controversies he reached this position today and introduced himself in a different way. MSD is famous for his cool nature. MSD was born on 7 July 1981 in Ranchi and he has a sister Jayanti Gupta and a brother Narendra Dhoni. He was a fan of Sachin Tendulkar and Adam Gilchrist.
