Purple cap in ipl 2008:-

This is the first season of Indian premier league and from that season ipl became very famous. As in orange cap list Shaun marsh became the first winner similar to that fast bowler from the Pakistan Sohail Tanvir became the first player to win purple cap.
He takes a total of 21 wickets in 11 matches in which he took 5 wickets in one match. Following him Shane Warne and Sreesanth both take 19 wickets in 15 matches.
Purple cap in ipl 2009:-

In ipl winners list we see different teams won the ipl but there is difference between winning the ipl trophy and winning orange cap and purple cap. Many time happened the winner of ipl has no orange cap and purple cap
In 2009 RP Singh from Deccan Chargers won the purple cap he took 23 wickets in 16 matches. Following him, Anil Kumble takes 21 wickets in 16 matches and Lasith Malinga from Mumbai Indians takes 18 wickets in 13 matches.
Purple cap in ipl 2010:-

In 2010 the again the Deccan chargers player Pragyan Ojha won the purple cap he takes total 21 wickets that season. After the Pragyan Ojha Anil Kumble became the second-highest wicket-taker, he takes 17 wickets in 16 matches. Following that Amit Mishra taken 17 wickets in 14 matches
Purple cap in ipl 2011:-

The man from Srilanka Lasith Malinga who is playing for the Mumbai Indians became the purple cap winner in 2011 he takes 28 wickets in 16 matches. Followed Lasith Malinga Munaf Patel from Mumbai Indians is the second-highest wicket-taker that season he takes 22 wickets in 15 matches.
Third highest wicket-taker in that season is Sreenath Aravind he takes 21 wickets in that season in just 13 matches.
Purple cap in ipl 2012:-

In 2012 Morane Morkel won the purple cap he takes 25 wickets in 16 matches. In that season he performs as one of the best all-rounders for Chennai super kings. Followed to Morne Morkel the Sunil Narine and Lasith Malinga became the 2nd and 3rd highest wicket-taker that season.
Both taken 24 and 22 wickets in that season respectively
Purple cap in ipl 2013:-

Man from Caribbean premier league Dwayne Bravo won the purple cap that season he takes 32 wickets in 18 match. Followed to Dwayne James Faulkner became the 2nd highest wicket-taker in season he takes 24 wicket in that season and 2 times he taken the 5 wicket in one inning.
Harbhajan Singh from Mumbai Indians became the 3rd highest wicket-taker in that season he takes 24 wicket in 19 match. And contribute to Mumbai won.
Purple cap in ipl 2014:-

Mohit Sharma from the Chennai super kings won the purple cap he takes 23 wickets in 16 matches followed to Mohit Sharma Knight Riders Sunil Narine be the 2nd highest wicket-taker that season he takes21 wickets in 16 matches.
After Sunil Narine, Bhuvneshwar Kumar from Sunrisers Hyderabad became the 3rd highest wicket-taker that season he takes 20 wickets in 14 matches
Purple cap in ipl 2015:-

In 2015 Mumbai Indians again became the winner of the ipl. But Dwayne Bravo won the purple cap that season he takes 26 wickets in 16 matches. After Dwayne Bravo Lasith Malinga became the 2nd highest wicket-taker he takes total 24 wickets in 15 matches Yuzuvendra Chahal remain the 3rd highest wicket-taker.
Purple cap in ipl 2016:-

In 2016 sun risers Hyderabad won the ipl and their player swing master Bhuvneshwar Kumar won the purple cap in that season he take total 23 wickets in 17 matches.
followed to Bhuvi Bengaluru bowler Yazuvendra Chahal became the second-highest wicket-taker that season he take 21 wicket in 13 matches after that another Bengaluru player Shane Watson became 3rd highest wicket-taker in that season he takes total 20 wickets in just 16 matches.
Purple cap in ipl 2017:-

In 2017 also the Bhuvneshwar Kumar won the purple cap. He takes 26 wickets in 16 matches. Followed by Jaydev Unadkat he takes 24 wickets in 12 matches. After Jaydev Unadkat Jasprit Bumrah became the 3rd highest wicket-taker that ipl he takes 20 wickets in 16 matches.
Purple cap in ipl 2018:-

In 2018 Chennai super kings became champion. And Andrew Tye won the purple cap in that season he takes 24 wickets in 14 matches. After Andrew Tye Rashid Khan from Hyderabad became 2nd highest wicket-taker I, he takes 21 wickets in 17 matches. Followed by Sidharth Kaul he takes 21 wickets in 17 matches.
Purple cap in ipl 2019:-

2019 is lucky year for the Imran Tahir he won the purple cap in that season he takes total 26 wicket in 17 matches. Followed by Kagiso Rabada he takes 25 wickets in 12 matches. After that, another bowler from Chennai super kings Deepak Chahar became the 3rd highest wicket-taker that season
Purple cap in ipl 2020:-

In 2020 recently Mumbai Indians won the ipl trophy again and their opposite team in final Delhi Capitals bowler Kagiso Rabada won the purple cap he takes 30 wicket in 17 matches. Followed to him 2 Mumbai Indians bowler Jasprit Bumrah and Trent Boult takes 27 and 25 wickets in 15 matches respectively
The next season of Indian Premier League is will happen in March-April. Weill gets another purple cap winner and another player sided to purple cap winners in ipl.
