So in this blog, I will tell about some other points but before looking at the rest of the points, I will give a little different information about Matheran in this blog.
The town of Matheran was founded by the British. In 1850, an English officer named Mallet was the Collector of Thane. He saw this mountain from Chowk village. He was also a trekker, so he was attracted to this mountain. He liked the place a lot after he trekked and he built a house here and following him, his friends, family, and the British settled in Matheran. Matheran toy train was built between 1901 and 1907 by Abdul Hussein Adamjee Peerbhoy.
There are many hotels and resorts in Matheran but some are costly and some are cheap. In my opinion, If you are going with friends so you can take cheap hotels and cheap hotels are also give good facilities to customers. In Monsoon, Matheran’s temperature is in the range of 21 to 27 degrees Celsius. It rains a lot here in the monsoon so you can keep an umbrella or raincoat with you.
